Breath Beyond Division: Gathering for Peace

  • Fillmore Chapel 700 Unity Way Lee's Summit, MO, 64086 United States (map)

In a time of heightened division and uncertainty, let's choose a different path—one of peace, presence, and togetherness. We invite people from all perspectives and backgrounds to join us for a free, restorative breathwork meditation at Unity Village's Labyrinth. This evening will offer the chance to calm our minds, open our hearts, and reconnect with the power of community. Breathe together, walk the sacred labyrinth, and, if you’d like, add your rhythm with a drum or instrument.

Come Democrats, Independents and Republicans alike. Step away from the tension, join with others in healing intention, and center yourself in the peace that’s always within.

Let’s come together, beyond politics, and remember what unites us all.

What is breathwork?

How you breathe affects your whole body. Proper breathing can help you sleep, lower blood pressure, improve your immune system and athletic performance while increasing your overall sense of happiness. Breathing is a skill that can be developed.

Practice proper breathing while we go on a breathwork journey. Relaxing the body, clearing the mind, calming your nervous system and relieving stress. All while improving your breathing habits and lung function.

This breathwork session is not just an event; it's a ritual of connection. Carry the essence of this experience beyond our time together, using the connective power of breath as we breath together. A reminder that we are all connected.

Registration is required as space is limited.

NOTE: You are laying on the floor for the majority of the session.

*Please consult with your doctor before doing breathwork if you have any of the following conditions. Pregnancy, have a history of seizures, brain aneurysms, torn retina, glaucoma, untreated high blood pressure, heart disease or are recovering from surgery. If you have extreme PTSD, please consult with your therapist before attending breathwork. Please email steph@risingphoenixbreathwork.com if you have questions or concerns.
